Are clinical trials available for lung cancer?

Because lung cancer is often diagnosed at advanced stages, many patients turn to clinical trials to gain access to new and promising treatments that aren’t yet available any other way. Not everyone qualifies for a clinical trial. If you’re interested, talk to your doctor about the pros and cons, including possible risks and benefits. We may recommend a specific clinical trial to offer you the best chance for successful treatment.

Miami Cancer Institute only conducts trials that we believe may improve care and outcomes. We may offer clinical trials to compare new treatment methods, diagnostic tests, prevention strategies or other aspects of care.

To find out more, visit our Clinical Trials and Research page. You can search for lung cancer clinical trials. We can also provide access to clinical trials through our membership in the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance.
